Transit/Leveling Tool-Are they difficult to learn to use for small projects?
For outdoor use, can I get an adequate one for around $200-$250 for just an occassional use around the home?? Lowes has a DeWalt model for $250, I was just wondering if this is a good model for my occassional application, and will I be able to teach myself how to use it with the owners manual??

david white is a good name brand for sight levels. My old boss has had his for over 30 years. I bought one 10 years ago both still work great. They are really easy to use. The only thing you have to remember is when you are shooting height that if you shoot 48" in one spot and 49" in another that 49" is lower than 48" because the tape goes down to see 49" . I am sure david white has a web site to check out I paid 300 bucks for mine. Good luck.
